I suggest staying at the Hyatt Regency on the Riverfront. It is by Michigan Avenue and the Magnificent Mile is just 1 block away. The hotel staff was really helpful and helped out a lot. A walk out to Navy Pier isn’t that far either. If you go to Navy Pier try taking a lunch or dinner tour on the Spirit of Chicago. If you choose to take the subway (Red Line) to Wrigley Field there is stations 3-4 blocks away on State Street.
