I am considering staying at the Stay Hotel on the edge of Skid Row in Los Angeles in an upcoming trip with my girlfriend. We weren’t going to rent a car, but planning on taking public transportation to places while we were there. Would it be a safe enough place to come and go to? We wouldn’t walk around skid row, and we could even take taxis to union station or wherever.

There has been talk about the National Park creating a 5-star hotel on the small island. Would that not be awesome to stay at? I would have a blast! I would be afraid that it could get vandalized easier though. What are your thoughts? Thanks for answering!

Oil is hitting $130 a barrel today.

The middle class is shrinking.

My logic is this, when the middle class is down to the lower class, it will cause a chain reaction.

For instance,

Middle class can’t afford a doctor’s office.

Doctor makes less money so stops buying RV’s, Trips, and mercedes…

Or Middle class can’t afford trips, hotels, those go under. Their CEO’s go under.

I just find this collapse inevitable. With food shortages, things are looking scary.
